The Diploma course in Automobile Engineering started during Oct ’1988 and it has completed 20 years of its existence successfully. This course is being run only for the wards of BSF personnel as a welfare measure. It is a privilege to mention that all the passed out students from diploma in Automobile Engineering course have got very good placements. Total 18 batches have passed out from the institute.

Diploma Automobile Engineering has gained the ground since its inception and the institute takes pride in 100% placement of final year students through campus interviews every years.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering started from session 2008-09 with intake of 60 wards of BSF only. 

Admission
Presently the capacity of batches is 120 for BSF wards only (serving or retire). Candidate should have passed class X of 10+2 pattern or equivalent exam with minimum aggregate of 40% marks in math and Science. The percentage is relax able in respect of SC & ST candidates to 33%. 30% quota has been reserved for girl’s students and category wise reservation is as per quota specified by MP Govt. which is as under:

 
The Caste certificate should have been issued in the Performa prescribed by the respective State Government / Central Govt. with in six months from the date of submission of application form.  In case of OBC candidates it should clearly state whether the candidate falls in the creamy layer or not.

State and National level players, on the basis of certificate issued by the authorized institutions recognized by the State/Central Govt. will be given 5% and 10%additional bonus marks respectively on prescribed education qualification while preparing the merit list.

There is no admission test for admission to Automobile course. The merit list will be on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in class X of 10+2 pattern or equivalent examination. The application form in the prescribed Performa ( enclosed as appendix ‘A’) should reach Commandant, CSMT BSF, Tekanpur with in specified period along with all necessary documents and crossed demand draft for Rs.50/- drawn in favour of Commandant, CSMT BSF, Tekanpur, payable at SBI Tekanpur Code8284. No. document and form will be accepted after last date or without Bank Draft of prescribed fee.

Admission test will be conducted for taking admission in Diploma Mechanical Course. The test paper will contain question as Science (Physics, Chemistry), Math and basic knowledge of English & Computer.

The following certificates are to be attached with application form

1. Attested photocopy of passed 10th examination.

2. Father’s service certificate along with the name of the applicant (Retired/Disabled discharge personnel also produce Commandant Certificate mentioning Real Son/Daughter in respect of his ward.

3. SC/ST/OBC certificate, certificate should be issued in the Performa prescribed by the respective state Government/central Government after 31/03/2005. Incase of OBC candidates it should clearly state whether the candidate falls under creamy layer or not.

4. Health Fitness certificate.

5. Character certificate.

6. Death certificate in case of deceased BSF personnel.

g.   Certificate of achievements in Games and Sports at National level/State level.

(b) Ms. Hema Bhandari obtained First Position in Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal (MP) and won “University Silver Medal” for session 2007-2008.
