The RJIT is Governed by a Governing Body constituted in accordance with the requirements of AICTE, Affiliating University and Directorate of Technical Education M.P. The D.G., BSF is the ex-officio Chairman of the Governing Body, with staff officers from the Directorate General B.S.F., Financial Advisor, Representative of AICTE, R.G.P.V., Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh, Principal and senior faculty as members. repre sentative of SDTT MUMBAI, one Academicians to be nominated by the Chairman are also the members of the Governing Body of R.J.I.T., B.S.F. TEKANPUR. Principal of RJIT is the Member Secretary.
The functions of Governing Body include management, regulation of administration, finances and investment, approval of budget of the Institute & opening of new departments of studies, appointment of staff, promotion, disciplinary action etc. AICTE / University can intervene to take corrective measures if the Institution departs from the norms prescribed for its functioning.
