Administrative Office

The office consists of establishment and account section. The establishment section keep record of student and service of all employees of the institute. The accounts section takes care of all financial matter of the institute. The administrative office also supervises security of the institute, development of campus and proper running of mess /canteen etc.

Advance Computer Lab

Keeping in view the latest technological advancement, we have designed a state –of-the-art fully air-conditioned computer center. The computer center has 200 terminals with latest configuration and connected over the local area network. A number of computer in the centre have been assembled by the student of RJIT with the networking. Workshops for assembly of computers and networking are conducted at the institute periodically. The aim of the institute is to computing system in distributed environment and for this purpose the computer lab has Windows 2000server, red Hat Linux 8.0 & SCO UnixWare 7.1 servers with Red Hat Linux 8.0 and Windows XP on clients. The Computer center is also facilitated with LCD Projector with Motorized Screen and other Audio-Video aid for conducting seminars. To help the student to keep pace with the net-age the computer center is presently facilitated with V-SAT facility of 128Kbps bandwidth and unlimited download, for accessing the internet.2 Mbps broadband connection is available for 12 hours to the student. it is having licensed software as per Microsoft as per Microsoft campus-3 agreement

Library

The institute has a library with vast collection of standard books on various subject of Engineering, Science, Technology, Management and Humanities along with a number of magazines and technical reference. The Library has also a reference section. It provide digital media for student to help them in their studies.
Library is automated and being run by state of the art software technology “Alice for Windows”. Facility of online library digital Engineering Library (DEL) is available for 12 hours.

Hostel

The institute has a well furnished boy hostel accommodating 126 inmates and a girls hostel for accommodation for 50 girls

Training & Placement Cell:-

The institute is committed to the promotion of industrial growth of the nation and to provide excellent technical human resources to meet the global advancement. The institute has a separate Training & Placement cell to help students for on and off campus Recruitment. Students various branches under go industrial training during semester break in different industries of repute.  Rs. 1000/- per student is charged for recruitment activities by the T&P Cell.

The institute has the services of a qualified sports officer.A gymnasium with all necessary and advanced peripherals is under construction. Winning and losing is part of life, but what matter is participation in sport. The institute organized Annual athletic meet in the month of February annually. The institute participates in various inter college and inter University Tournaments, organized at nodal and state level

Club at RJIT:-
To provide a vent to the creativity of budding engineers, RJIT has a number of club and societies catering to the varied area of interests. The students under the guidance and mentoring of the faculty member handle the administration of the club thus honing their organized and leader skills.

IETE Students Forum:-
An IETE (Institute of Electrical & Telecommunication Engineers) Students Forum has been setup in the institute under which various technical events are conducted. Paper Presentation contest, Quiz contest, Hardware workshops etc. event have been organized till date under ISF. SAE Collegiate Club: A SAE (Society of Automobile Engineers) Collegiate club has been setup in the institute under which various technical events are conducted. Paper presentation contest, quiz competitions, hardware workshops etc. events have been organized till date under SAE.

Symposium:-
The Automobile department organized an AICTE sponsored National Level Symposium “invention in Automobile and sector and its impact on Indian Economy” on 29-30 March 2007

Achievements in Sports

The students of RJIT had participated and won medals in various Sports activities held during Oct ’07 to Dec ’07 :-

Selection of students for all india University

Master Deepak Pathak of Electronics 4th Year of RJIT was declared best player of Basket Ball in qualifying matches for All India University.

Four Students of RJIT, Tekanpur,(Gwl) Automobile branch stood first and second during the year 2005-2006 and honoured by RGPV during convocation held on 25th November 2007. The details of said students are as under:-

RJIT has won Inter Wing Basket Ball Championship held at BSF Academy, Tekanpur by defeating STC in final match on 21st January 2008.

Achievements in Sports For the period from 1st JAN to 31st March 2008

1. RJIT has stood 1st in Inter College Antakshari Competition held at ABV, IIITM, Gwalior during “AURORA-08” Function.
2. The students of RJIT stood first in solo song , Group song, solo dance & play & stood second in modern play held at NITM, Gwalior during UTSAV – 08 cultural fest.
3. Recently the students of RJIT has won total 60 medals in athletics viz. 17 gold, 19 silver & 24 bronze at NRITM, Gwalior at Nodal Level Athletics Championship.
4. RJIT has won Inter Wing Basket Ball Championship held at BSF Academy, Tekanpur by defeating STC in final match on 12th January 2008.

 

Student life at Campus

The essence of the student life and activities on the campus is to provide an invigorating and creative environment which promotes independent thanking and introspection. The young student thus becomes aware of their latent talent. Excellent facilities for sport, game, recreation etc. are available to students.
A number of inter and intra college fests are organized to encourage interaction amongst students. Various cultural and sports events are organized on an annual basis thus providing an opportunity to put the theoretical concepts into practice.
Apart from academics, students participate extensively in cultural and sports activities.
A variety of clubs cater to different interests and keep the student busy throughout.

Ragging

“Ragging is strictly prohibited in the college campus. Severe punishment is imparted to the students involved in the ragging.”

Cultural Activities

‘ABHIYANJANA’ the annual cultural function of RJIT, celebration the spirit of teamwork and excellence and a platform to exhibit the student talents. The festival attracts participation from all the disciplines of institute. It is held annually in the month of March

ISRO-RGPV EDUSAT Program

ISRO-RGPV EDUSAT Program has been launched in Madhya Pradesh. Our institute is selected as a interactive class room for providing the online education/training for the students and faculty both. Equipments (Transmitter, Receiver, Modem, Dish Antenna, Computer etc.) Worth of Rs. 8lacs. Are provided by RGPV free of cost.
